Jagadguru Shri Vallabhacharyaji,the initiator of Pushtimarg and propogator of pure non-dualism (Shuddhadvaita) philosophy had two sons,Shri Gopinathji and Shri Vitthalnathji.Shri Gopinathji was elder but due to his early demise it was Gusainji (Shri Vitthalnathji) who gave Pushti Sampraday the vision that it has today.

        Shri Vitthalnathji had seven sons.Shri Raghunathji was fifth-the embodiment of "Shree" (wealth) guna of God.As Shri Raghunathji was the fifth son of Shri Gusainji the peeth of Shri Raghunathji is called the Panchampeeth which translated into english means the fifth house.
