Bikaner
(1867)
In the year 1867 when Shri Govindprabhu was the Tilkayat of the House the then Maharaja of Jaipur embraced Shaivism.Seeing this Govindprabhu decided to leave Jaipur. He left Jaipur along with Shri Gokulchandramaji and some of the sewaks who accompanied him, leaving behind all the wealth which was given by all the Maharajas of Jaipur during the 100 years and went to Bikaner.Shri Gokulchandramaji was taken to Bikaner on the behest of Shri Sardarsinghji, the Maharaja of Bikaner.
Shri Gokulchandramaji stayed in Bikaner for only six years.During this period Shri Sardarsinghji paid personal attention to all the aspects and saw that the sewa was carried on in the best way possible. He had arranged bullock-carts in such a way that one bullock-cart would return everyday with fresh Jamunajal(water of river Yamuna) and vegetables for sewa, though it took several days to reach Mathura from Bikaner.
