    The Panchampeeth is associated with Pushtimarg,the path of the divine grace of God shown by Shri Vallabhacharya.Shri Vallabhacharyaji was one of the four Acharyas of medivial India(1478 A.D.).He propogated the philosophy of pure non-dualism known as Shuddhadvaita.

     Shri Vallabhacharyaji had two sons,Shri Gopinathji (who passed away early) and Shri Vitthalnathji (Shri Gusainji).Shri Gusainji initiated seven peeths(houses) for each of his seven sons.Each one of them was given a nidhi swaroop (central diety)for performing sewa.Shri Raghunathji was the fifth son of Shri Gusainji and so he was given the Fifth nidhi swaroop Shri Gokulchandramaji ."Nidhi" in sanskrit means wealth.Shri Gusainji distributed the seven nidhis among his sons as they were his real wealth.
     Panchampeeth is situated in Kamvan,Rajasthan which is 120kms. South of Delhi and 55 kms. from Mathura.Kamvan situated in Vrajbhumi and is one of the twelve Vanas(forests) of Vraj.
